About the Botanical Gardens:

Cleveland Botanical Garden is alive with the plant world's natural beauty and vital contributions to all life. Guests of the Garden can experience its 20 exquisite specialty gardens and exotic indoor biomes for year-round escape and delight. Founded in 1930 as the Garden Center of Cleveland, Cleveland Botanical Garden has evolved into a community treasure.

The Garden's community involvement extends beyond its 10 acres in University Circle into city neighborhoods through its Green Corps program. Since 1996, Green Corps has enlightened area youth with the significant growth opportunities urban farming has to offer themselves, as well as their friends and families.

Event Details:  The Annual Egg Hunt is a chance for children to search among the flowers of Hershey Children’s Garden for egg-filled surprises while also enjoying crafts, games, story time, and photo opportunities with the Botanical Gardens resident bunny. Volunteers who choose to help with this event will be assigned to help with guest registration, help run craft and activity tables, game stations, hide the eggs for the various “hunts”, help with set-up, and help with clean-up.

The event time will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM – between 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Orientation for all staff and volunteers.  We will also need to finish setting up (decorating, preparing station tables and games before the doors open to guest at 10:00 AM).

Their parking in our garage will be validated for the day.

We have a volunteer room with lockers if they would like to store personal items there (we provide the locks and keys).

Volunteers will be entitled to discount in the café should they choose to stay for lunch after the Egg Hunt.

Waiver Form attached.  Please download, sign,  and bring with you to the Botanical Gardens that day.

At the end of the event, two tickets will be available to be raffled off for the volunteers.
