The Northeast Ohio (NEO) Chapter of PMI® was awarded its charter in March, 1990. And we’ve been growing in membership and improving our services to our members ever since!
An elected, volunteer Board of Directors manages the Northeast Ohio (NEO) Chapter of PMI®. There are currently 5 elected Board Members. Board Members serve for a two-year term. The Chapter President, At-Large #2, and Secretrary are elected on even numbered years (e.g. 2012, 2014) and the At-Large #1 and Treasurer are elected on odd numbered years (e.g. 2013, 2015). The Board appoints Officers (VP's) that chair specific operational groups within the chapter. Officers appoint Advisors which can serve as long as they are available or specifically for the assignment given them. Professional Development Units (PDUs) are earned as a Board Member or Officer, 10 PDU's per yearfor maximum of 20, or as an Advisor, 5 PDU's per year for a maximum of 15 in a renewal cycle. For a complete two-year term or assignment, respectively. The chapter annually renews its charter through the Project Management Institute, headquartered in Pennsylvania. We are an incorporated entity. We adhere to a set of Chapter By-Laws (effective January 2005) that are available for you to review. What the Board does to develop new programs and educational opportunities takes place through many e-mails, phone conversations and Board Meetings. Members are always welcome to attend a Board Meeting. We are always looking forfeedback from our members and would delight in your participation. |
