2009-2010 Sponsorship and Advertising Policy

Web Banners

Web banners are powerful marketing tools that let you advertise your company or organization. They can be purchased based upon current availability. A maximum of five banners is available on the www.pmineo.org website with hyperlinks enabling visitors to move directly to your web site. There will be four (4) static and one (1) rotating banner. The price is $250 for ninety (90) days. The minimum for web banner placement is ninety (90) days. Banner locations are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Web Banner Advertising Specifications

NEO PMI banner advertisements are 125 pixels x 125 pixels in size, essentially small banners that are hot-linked directly to your website. These banner ads can be purchased for a ninety (90) day basis for a minimum of ninety (90) days. All advertisements will be posted/updated on the first of every month. The Northeast Ohio Chapter website limits banner advertisements to a maximum of five (5) banners. All requests must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the desired posting date.   Advertisers must complete a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and include payment to the PMINEO vendor representative before the Web Banner will be published.

• Images: GIF or JPEG accepted, maximum image size 125 x 125 pixels; resolution 72 dpi, maximum file size, 10K.

• Image Maps: Not accepted.

• Animated Banners: GIF only;  loop must stop after 4 seconds.

• Alternate text for images: 10 words maximum.

• Ad copy: Not accepted.

Targeted Email Advertising

Targeted emails are a powerful marketing tool that lets you direct your advertising message our membership. The price for each email electronic mailing is $250.

Email Advertising Specifications

Emails messages cannot exceed 1Mb in size including attachments. All requests must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the desired date of emailing. Advertisers must complete a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and include payment to the PMINEO vendor representative before the email will be sent.

• Frequency: PMINEO will limit email advertising from a single vendor to one email message per 90 day regardless of the subject content.

• Email Size; Total email size including attachments must not exceed 250k.

• Attachments: PDF files are preferred. GIF or JPEG accepted resolution is 72 dpi. Total attachment size cannot exceed 150k.

• Ad copy: Advertisement content must be in good taste and be consistent with the goals of the PMINEO Chapter. PMINEO reserves the right to request changes, if content is not acceptable and/or cancel the email distribution, if Ad content is not acceptable.

• Content Disclaimer: All email messages will have the following disclaimer added to the bottom of the email. 'This email is sponsored by [Advertiser] and PMINEO does not endorse the products nor content offered by [Advertiser]".

Email Privacy Policy

Under no circumstance will PMINEO provide PMINEO Membership email addresses to advertisers.

Professional Development Day (PDD) Sponsorship

Twice a year PMINEO sponsors PDD events for our chapter membership.  These events often generate more than 200 certified project managers from the greater Northeast Ohio area and are a great way to promote products and services that are of value to project management professionals.  The events are held in hotel banquet facility with professional catering and event management.

To promote a connection between our members and value added services PMINEO makes available a number of sponsor tables available outside the meeting rooms.  The tables provide ample room for promotional materials and room for conversation.  A PDD Sponsor table is available for $250.

Extended Relationship Discounts

Discounted Services

To promote an ongoing relationship between PMINEO and its sponsors discounts are provided to sponsors that continue their sponsorship in a continual manner over an extended period of time.  Each service is discounted by 10% for each consecutive use as detailed in the following table:

Platinum Sponsorship

For those organizations that wish to build a strategic relationship with PMINEO the Platinum Sponsorship is available.  At an annual rate of $1,500 the PMINEO chapter will recognize the organization as a platinum sponsor and provide all of the services described above; a web banner for one year, four quarterly d-mails and a table at each of the two PDDs.  The standard first year rater for all these services in a consecutive manner is $2,100 resulting in a savings of $600 for these strategic partners.

Identify the type of advertising option and the subscription duration.   Web postings will occur within seven (7) business days of receipt of payment.

The MOU, payment, and ad content must be received by the ads due dates.   If an order is received late, it will be (any penalties for late submission)
